The software development facility on a plot measuring 5 acres was planned in three phases. The first phase involved refurbishment of the existing building. Phase two included design of a new software building in the campus spread over 120,000 square feet, completed in January 2003. Phase three consisted of Software Block III over 150,000 square feet.

The design intent was to integrate the new buildings with the existing one and give it a ‘Campus’ feel by creating a new central building which houses common facilities and connects the two software development blocks overlooking a central green. The central building includes a fitness center, flexible training room, cafeteria and break out areas. The combination of local sandstone and granite with aluminium composite panel and curtain wall gives the building an international look with local flavour.

The campus exemplifies contemporary phased development strategy that strategically integrates multiple buildings while maintaining individual architectural identity through distinct exterior façades.

The central atrium—featuring a three-story colorful structure with open stairs—serves as the organizational and social nucleus of the development, creating a dramatic focal point for the plan while facilitating chance employee encounters and informal collaboration.

that activate and energize the atrium, ensuring the space functions simultaneously as functional circulation hub and dynamic social interface.

The integration of campus amenities (fitness center, cafeteria, training facilities) around the atrium reinforces employee connectivity and supports a unified organizational culture across distributed development blocks, while the local-international material palette celebrates both the site’s contextual identity and the client’s global technological sophistication.
