Architecture, Engineering
On a site area of approximately 3.55 acres, RKA has designed Bangalore’s finest international 5‑Star Hotel for ITC Hotels Ltd. The hotel consists of 300 rooms spread over 10 floors.
The architecture organizes the design as a contemporary garden city tribute, merging the interior and exterior through abundant natural light, landscaped courts, and a wind cooled atrium with vertical hanging gardens anchoring the public realm.
The signature lotus pavilion—an open, multi columned structure—sits at the project heart, its gently sloping living roof and surrounding water bodies shaping the arrival to court sequence and establishing identity along the central axis.
Facades articulate a warm palette of sandstone, glass, texture paint, and granite across the 10-floor composition, prioritizing shaded perimeters, framed views, and cross ventilated volumes.
The atrium’s glazed shafts and integrated planting moderate internal climate and guide wayfinding from lobby to garden court. Large span banqueting floorplates enable column free flexibility, while rooftop lawn, pool deck, fitness and spa function as extensions of the indoor–outdoor hospitality program, orchestrating transitions from civic scale entries to intimate settings with consistent landscape adjacency and microclimatic control.
RKA is all about design excellence — it’s in our ethos. Be it rendering exceptional value through design and strategy to our clients or making every employee’s experience with RKA valuable and worthwhile.
