Following an intense competition, RKA was selected by the Oil Industry Development Board (OIDB) to design their new Corporate Office at Noida.
The building has been designed as a Green Building and comprises built-up area of more than 400,000 square feet. This project represents a significant commitment to environmental responsibility during a period when sustainable corporate architecture was emerging as a key design consideration in India’s corporate real estate sector.
The green building design incorporates sustainable principles including energy-efficient systems, optimized daylighting strategies, water conservation measures, and environmentally conscious material selection to minimize operational environmental impact.
The design demonstrates how contemporary corporate office architecture can reconcile performance requirements with ecological stewardship, employing advanced building technologies and passive design strategies to reduce energy consumption throughout the building’s lifecycle.
This 400,000 square-foot facility exemplifies the growing recognition that green certification and sustainable practices—whether through IGBC, GRIHA, or LEED frameworks—deliver both environmental benefits and long-term operational cost savings for corporate occupants
