Architecture, Planning & Urban Design
This Office Park for RMZ Corp in Bangalore is spread over 10 acres having an overall built-up area of 1 million square feet. It was built in phases, with each phase consisting of an office block complete in all respects, ready to move-in. Phase I spread over 220,000 square feet.
RKA provided the master plan, overall urban form of all the blocks and detailed architectural design of buildings. The external facades of glass, aluminium, and granite are suited to the image of technology companies in Indian ‘silicon valley’.
The design exemplifies large-scale technology park master planning that coordinates multiple independent office blocks while maintaining visual and functional coherence across a phased development strategy.
The strategic integration of glass, aluminium composite panels, and granite creates a sophisticated facade language that communicates technological sophistication and global competitiveness, essential for attracting multinational technology corporations to Bangalore’s emerging IT industry.
RKA’s comprehensive master planning approach establishes urban form and connectivity principles that transcend individual buildings, creating a cohesive 10-acre campus environment that supports both independent tenant operations and cross-organizational collaboration.
The phased development strategy allows flexible implementation responsive to market conditions while maintaining architectural integrity and operational readiness within each discrete block, demonstrating how master planning can balance commercial pragmatism with design vision in large-scale technology campus development.
RKA is all about design excellence — it’s in our ethos. Be it rendering exceptional value through design and strategy to our clients or making every employee’s experience with RKA valuable and worthwhile.
