An office building designed for GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd., developed over a built-up area of 200,000 sq. ft. RKA provided comprehensive architectural design and coordination services for the project.

The architectural design of the GMR Office Building responds to its institutional and corporate context with an emphasis on clarity, efficiency, and functional planning. The building is conceived as a contemporary office environment that supports administrative and operational functions associated with airport infrastructure. Spatial planning prioritises efficient floor plates, clear circulation, and logical zoning of workspaces, meeting rooms, and support areas.

Building massing is articulated to establish a strong yet restrained architectural presence, reflecting the corporate identity of the client.

Attention is given to daylight integration and façade composition to enhance internal comfort while maintaining energy efficiency.

Service cores and vertical circulation are strategically positioned to maximise usable office areas and allow flexibility in internal layouts.

The architectural expression balances durability and modernity, ensuring long-term adaptability and ease of maintenance.

Overall, the project delivers a functional and refined corporate workspace, aligned with the operational requirements of a major infrastructure organisation and contributing positively to Hyderabad’s growing institutional and commercial landscape.
