Situated in the most picturesque part of Hyderabad at the commercial centre of the city, the hotel overlooks the scenic Hussain Sagar Lake and provides magnificent views from all its guest accommodations.
ITC Kakatiya is conceived as a contemporary interpretation of the Kakatiya Dynasty’s architectural legacy, with interiors and spatial organization reflecting the region’s refined aesthetic traditions.
The hotel massing responds to the lakeside setting by establishing clear sightlines and visual connections from guest rooms and public spaces toward the water and landscape.
The 188‑room program is organized vertically to maximize the elevated
site while maintaining a human scale at street and arrival levels.
Guest room placement balances lake views with privacy and acoustic isolation, with balconies and fenestration planned to capture light and ventilation.
Public spaces—dining, meeting, spa, and wellness facilities—are distributed vertically and horizontally to support independent operational flows and visual variety.
The interior language combines references to Kakatiya architectural ornament—carved details, traditional motifs, hand‑crafted elements—with contemporary finishes and functional clarity, creating a layered spatial experience that balances heritage character with operational efficiency.
All architectural decisions focus on spatial planning, massing, material expression, and landscape integration, presented without reference to hotel operations or cultural programmatic positioning.
