Architecture, Engineering, Planning & Urban Design
This 200-room hotel is spread over a built-up area of 312,200 sq. ft. of prime real estate in Gurgaon and was developed jointly by the Taj Group of Hotels and HB Estate Developers.
The architectural design of Vivanta by Taj Gurgaon reflects a contemporary interpretation of luxury hospitality suited to Gurgaon’s evolving corporate and commercial context.
The building massing is carefully articulated to establish a strong urban presence while maintaining a refined and welcoming scale.
Planning strategies prioritise clear segregation between public, semi-public, and private zones, ensuring seamless circulation for guests, staff, and service functions.
Guest accommodation, conference facilities, and shared amenities are efficiently organised to support both business and leisure use.
Façade articulation and material expression contribute to a modern architectural identity, balancing transparency and solidity while responding to climatic considerations.
The overall design integrates functional efficiency with visual clarity, reinforcing the brand’s contemporary ethos. The project successfully positions itself as a prominent hospitality landmark, combining thoughtful planning, efficient use of space, and a cohesive architectural language within Gurgaon’s prime urban fabric.
RKA is all about design excellence — it’s in our ethos. Be it rendering exceptional value through design and strategy to our clients or making every employee’s experience with RKA valuable and worthwhile.
